Wave cloning - does it ring a bell in your mind? Are you thinking about complex waves crawling all over the CRO?
How about a challenge which will give a new meaning to the whole concept?
what you have to do is brush up your basics and make a clone of a human doing a wave!

Total prize money worth Rs 8,000 to be won !!

Participants need to bring in a circuit which solves the problem statement

The event happens over two sessions

Session 1 -Evaluation of waveform

For this session the participants will get 90 minutes after starting the event to arrange the circuit .

Exactly after 90 minutes the waveforms will be evaluated by our panel of judges.

Session 2 -Viva

This session is optional in case the competition is very close or ends in a tie.

  • Teams with a maximum of three members will be allowed
  • The circuit must be made well before coming to the competition either in breadboard or in PCB
  • Programmable devices and memories of any kind won’t be allowed in the circuit
  • DC Power supplies (+/-15V and +5V) will be provided along with analog CRO
  • Signal generators( maximum 2) will be provided, but self generated signals will be prioritised.
  • For session1 participants will be provided with resistors, capacitors, diodes and transistors if necessory.
  • Organisers will not be responsible for any unavailablity of the components.
  • Ic's required should be brought by participants themselves.
  • The final decision regarding the prizes relies upon the judges and the coordinators. They have the right to cancel the prizes if they don't find the participants up to a minimum required standard.
  • The coordinators have the authority to disqualify participants if they are caught doing any malpractices
  • The criteria are given in the decreasing order of priority
