Treasure Hunt

Due to some legal issues the city wide treasure hunt, that was initially planned, has to be canceled. The treasure hunt has been confined to college campus.

Once it was the dream of all emperors across the world...
Once it had the world’s largest share of wealth...
It’s the city of El Dorado....
Many wars were fought and much blood was shed ...
But El Dorado remained virgin...
All of a sudden the city vanished into history..
Many searched for it in vain and many others lives were ruined...
History became legend and legend became mystery...
The greatest of the astrologists say that the time has come...
Do you dare to unlock the mystery of the lost city of El Dorado?
And unveil the greatest treasure ever???

Prize money - Rs 7000 !

Round 1

  • Written prelims
  • Tie-breaker will be employed if needed
  • Top 12 teams advance to the next round

    • Round 2

  • 15 teams will participate including 'Kryptos' winner's team & 'Mission Impossible' top 2 finishers' teams

    NB: Kryptos (online) and Mission Impossible (offline) are Excel X events

  • 8 teams advance to the next round

    • Round 3

  • The final 8 teams will be in pursuit of the treasure hidden in El Dorado

    • Round 1 10:00am - 10:30am December 12th 2009
    Round 2 11:00am - 11:30am December 12th 2009
    Round 3 12:00pm Onwards December 12th 2009

  • A team can have maximum of 4 and a minimum of 2 members
  • There should be at least 1 boy per team (optional but recommended)
  • Cross college teams are allowed
  • Any team found to be using unfair means to gain any sort of upper hand during the prelims/finals will be immediately disqualified
  • Coordinator's word is final and binding in all matters pertaining to the Treasure Hunt

    Bosch Workshop date has been changed from 11th December 2009 to 12th December 2009. Please check the schedule for updates.
    Excel X General quiz has been shifted from 12th December 2009 to 13th December 2009. Please check the schedule for further updates.
