Round 1

Sometimes it is useful to know how large your zero is !

  • Duration : 30 minutes
  • Questions from various areas of mathematics taught at the senior secondary and undergraduate level
  • Three levels of difficulty - easy, moderate & difficult, each level having a different score per question
  • Question Format
  • Mixture of objective and descriptive questions.
  • Objective questions will have negative marks for incorrect answers
  • Descriptive questions will be analysed based on how close you are to the answer.
  • No compulsion to answer a minimum number of questions from each category. Participants are free to either answer or skip any question
  • Five students will be qualified to the Final Round

    • Round 2

    When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn !

  • This round will be conducted as a Stage Event
  • Details will be explained at the time of the Event
  • Tests your speed, accuracy and wit
