Several workshops conducted by experts from different areas give you exposure to the recent technological developments. Excel experience is simply unique with events like TEDx, hosted for the first time by an Indian Engineering College.

By Road:
Kochi is well connected by road to all parts of India by 3 national highways and numerous other routes. Bus services are available from almost all major cities in Kerala, Tamil nadu and Karnataka.
The College is located 4 kilometers from Edappally toll Junction, where the 2 National Highways, NH-47, NH-17, merge with each other. Buses are available from main centres in Kochi. The private and KSRTC bus stations are situated 10km away.
By Rail:
Ernakulam is a major railway destination with trains running to all parts of the country. College is located 6 km from Ernakulam North Railway station, 10 km from Ernakulam South Railway station and 15 km from Aluva Railway Station.
By Air:
Kochi has an international airport connected by major aircraft operators. MEC is situated 20 km from Cochin International Airport along NH-47.
Travelling from Kochi and Ernakulam:
Frequent bus services are available from Edapally to Pookatupadi, Perumbavoor, Kothamangalam. Thrikkakkara temple bus stop is the nearest bus stop to MEC college, about 1km from the bus stop.
Travelling from Kaloor Bus Stand , Ernakulam South and Ernakulam North railway station need to travel by buses to Kakkanad. NGO quarters,is the nearest bus stop from the college located 1.5 km from MEC.
Autorikshaws are available from both Thrikkakara and NGO quarters to MEC at affordable rates.
Upon reaching MEC:
On reaching the college, report at the hospitality desk set up near the auditorium with your college id proof for participation and availing accommodation .The hospitality desk will forward you to the respective registration desks and get yourself registered to participate in any event.
Whatever service you need at ExcelX please feel free to approach the hospitality desk.
You are requested to register online for accommodation facility. Confirm the registration by contacting ExcelX Hospitality team coordinators on or before 8-12-2009 Tuesday. Nominal charges will be collected for providing accommodation with or without food.
Food Services will be provided by the college canteen and nearby restaurants.
